Contribute to 4th of July Fireworks

The Metamora Volunteer Fire Department sponsors Fireworks every year for a 4th of July celebration.

Everyone is invited at attend and help commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Independance. Please join us in Metamora for the Fireworks!

The MVFD also accepts donations in order to defray the costs -- which include the materials, and the insurance.

If you have ever enjoyed a free fireworks display, and would like to help ensure this kind of exhibition is shared universally -- please consider helping with a contribution.

Contributions will help continue the tradition of free fireworks and patriotic celebration.

The MVFD is a Not-For-Profit incorporated organization. All labor for the free fireworks is contributed by volunteers.

You may also contribute by adding an amount you specify to any order placed with the Metamora Country Store. Please designate "surplus for Fireworks" and the amount of the contribution.

If you have photographs of Metamora's Fireworks or of the 4th of July parade floats from any year, and would like to see them here in our gallery, please e-mail a copy to us, or mail us your original with your return address. We will gladly post them here and return the original to you.
